One of the first Blacks to get the Priesthood...

Our Dear Home Teacher Brother Black is such a great man. He won't let you forget that he is 89 years old. Brother Black is a faithful home teacher. We know each month that he cares for us and that he loves us. He has quite the sense of humor. He tells everyone that he was one of the first blacks to get the Priesthood. Get it..? Today in Relief Society his wife bore her testimony. She has always been very active. She was a P.E. teacher, has climbed mountains,loved swimming and all sports. Lately she has had major health problem(besides being in her 80's). She hasn't been able to walk without a cane or walker. Brother Black never was physically fit, even though Sister Black would bug him to exercise.

The other day he joined the fitness center and started lifting weights. She asked him why all of the sudden he'd start exercising. He replied, "So I can take care of you!" Isn't that the sweetest thing ever? Derek loves Brother Black's visits.. can you tell?
