Derek was invited to participate with the Sisters Middle School Adaptive P.E. Class in Tae Kwon Do. Josh, tutor Ashely's husband thought it would be a good thing for Derek...
I was hesitant at first, but excited about the challenge.
This is the BEST thing for Derek.
Even though it is in Sisters, it is well worth the drive.
The "instructors" are so good with the kids!
Derek LOVES going.
He has it written on his day planner for every Tuesday for... forever!
He's learning and remembering great skills.

Derek has already earned his yellow stripe on his belt!
Look at this smile! He is so happy when he is participating! He loves Tuesdays and Tae Kwon Do!

Derek, you are amazing! You are making friends all over the place, and if by chance we run into someone not so nice, or maybe even a robber, with your martial arts yellow belt, you can kick them, wack them, and punch them out of our way! High-yah!!!
